Deadpool Prime?

(This Picture denotes the Multiverse)

(This is just a rough Draft)

Opening the Multiverse. Hollywood: LET ME DO MY JOB! I'm the best & you don't need to show your scorn by charging me an agent or other fee. I'll pay out to you 10x more than any fee could elevate your wallet if you have the soul to open the friggin door. Are you divine? If you were you would open it. I'm the friggin leader of the armies of heaven. Will you not listen?

What do I title this article Deadpool Prime? In an infinite universe there are a near infinite amount of deadpools but in only a few of them will deadpool even look like Ryan Reynolds. When Ryan is dead and gone the deadpool will look different & may be part of another Universe.

The Prime version is always the best version of a character. Who's Deadpool Prime? If It's Ryan Reynolds then we might as well formulate an acceptable crossover for him to enjoy affecting other franchises that are willing to integrate crossovers that are great, or are what the fans are looking for, or are snippets of footage that setup the next inspired installment of any great production.

There are so many ways to do this wrong. Here's an inspired example about how to do it right.

Let's marry 3 characters from 3 different franchises altogether in 1 scene & let me explain a lot of the Do's and don'ts. We'll choose Cable(Fox Studios), Thanos(Marvel Studios) & Doomsday(Warner Brothers Pictures)

Let's Start with a setup scene between Cable & the Living Tribunal. Let's anticipate that the living tribunal speaks in a deep voice, being concise & to the point. The Tirbunal acts much like a prophet, foreseeing events & interfering only according to the desires of his will to shape this universe.

Tribunal(to Cable): You will soon find your life in Peril & only your best attempt to survive will help you realize your own need for me & the lifeline I will provide to you.

The Living Tribunal hands Cable a fingerless guantlet that connects to his wrist, has 5 buttons(similar to the space each gem fits into on the infinity guantlet) with a circular dial & a rod that extends to his index finger with a trigger on it.

Tribunal: The first function of your guantlet is to move objects, the next is to reset time. the 3rd is your life line. Your life line only works as a last resort. You can reset time only 3 times & only in 45 second intervals.

The scene progresses to a point where Cable is in a facility & is being pursued by Thanos(Marvel Studios Thanos pursing Fox studios Cable).

Cable has already discovered how to use the Guantlet to move objects and boreholes, much like digging in MindCraft. On Cable's first attempt he manages to sloppily remove stones from the wall of the facility, creating artificial doorways for him to traverse through on his way to escape Thanos. He is overcome by Thanos & quickly resets time. His second attempt he moves faster & uses a different route to traverse through rooms. He arrives at the end of a Hallway only to see how fast Thanos can run as thanos covers 100 feet in little over a second. On his final reset he becomes much more effecient & dedicated to just simply get out of the building. Using his guantlet to make artificial doorways through the building he finally manages to exit the building, passing through it's west side side on into a clearing. Realizing that Thanos is just too intelligent to let him get away Cable hits the final button on his Guantlet, disintegrating it instantly but with little harm. A portal is opened up right above Cables head(as he's running) & his momentum causes him to run under it. Turning around he sees Thanos locate him. As Thanos begins to close in on Cable, he is instantly knocked out of his course by a strange monster: Doomsday!

Thanos & Doomsday Fight. This version of Doomsday is only about 10 feet tall. As the fight progresses Thanos realizes he is being met blow for blow & that the savagery of Doomsday is tiring. This surprises Thanos. He stares into space, as if dumbfounded. Doomsday continues his assault, knocking him to the ground, causing Thanos to be laid out and on his back. Doomsday begins to rip up Thanos's Armor. Thanos gaze continues for a few moments and this leads to doomsday pounding him with his fists(two times), burying Thanos deeper with each blow. Doomsday strikes Thanos a 3rd time with his foot. The intensity of the blow bruises Thanos and shocks him out of his broken stare. He grabs Doomsday by the leg & then slams him to the ground. Thanos gets back into the conflict, find time to summon his chair. He eventually wobbles Doomsday long enough to find time to sit on his "throne", teleport to Doomsday(as he rises from Thanos recent blow) and grab him well enough to teleport him far into outer space. Doomsday flails his boney arms, slicing Thanos on his forehead. Thanos delivers his final blow to Doomsday, hurling Doomsday out into space.

The end result: Cable is able to escape, the audience was given a great fight scene between two titans of death and destruction. It is apparent to the audience that Thanos is convinced of his superiority early in the battle but as the fight progresses it becomes apparent that there isn't much Thanos can do to permanently damage Doomsday. No Kryptonite, no viable victory. As a going away present Thanos is left with an interesting wound that will leave the winner of the fight open to debate "Did Thanos actually defeat Doomsday?" & "I wonder if Doomsday could actually defeat Thanos".

Remember that the fight was just a great premis to save Cable's life and open up an escape & it highlights both characters at the same time. Thanos can perhaps beat anyone in a battle that he has time to prepare for but pound for pound there is not a whole lot Thanos can do to overcome Doomsday physically.

How can a Premis like this fit in the Marvel Studios Universe? Thanos is successfully blocked from obtaining an infinity stone or two by the avengers(and other Marvel characters) so he hops over a few Universes to try to obtain substitute stones from a Marvel universe owned by Fox Studios--or just have someone from Marvel studios try to hide an infinity gem in the current Fox Studios Marvel universe.

So now for some Do's and Don'ts:

Do: Remember to show the basic reason that Doomsday jumped through a portal to attack Thanos. The living tribunal uses an illusion of Thanos(that appears solid) to provoke Doomsday. The illusion of Thanos throws a small rock at Doomsday & then jumps through the portal.

Do: Highlight the sophistication of the Living Tribunal with a plug that causes the audience to believe that the Tribunal is virtually all seeing and all knowing.

Do: Remember to make the escape scene appear like Cable is in a real life version of MindCraft. Make the rhythm of Cable's circumstance moving rocks feel to the audience like he's playing Mind Craft. Elating customers that are also fans of MindCraft is a great way to Hype & market the film(because no one has really done it before).

Do: Stretch yourself to innovate. There's no greater innovator on the planet than me. Being original is thumbs up from critics.

Do: Find ways to gorund out critics. Who cares about critics but a good score from the critics is an excellent way to improve a film marketing prowess. A great movie is great not jus to fans but critics alike.

Don't: Think that there has to be a clear winner in epic conflicts. If you kill or brutally injure a hero it will likely be viewed as a negative plug for a character. Yes, a character that is a money maker for so many of the creative artists that make money off of it.
