Kevin Bacon Returning to X-men?

Don't buy into anything that isn't true. I'm just writing this as a plug for Kevin Bacon, who may be the best actor the franchise has employed.

Just remember how useful he can be if he was summoned for a future installment.

If I were to play Apocalypse, write or produce the next movie I couldn't see why I wouldn't call upon Shaw to be used as a wildcard against the advancing X-men... that is, at the pleasure of Apocalypse.

                   VS

The "who wins vs who" questions that many a Nerd has pondered has become one of the most effective(and often easy) ways to generate interest among the abundance of nerd viewers.

The scene I wrote is not in the format a Hollywood producer would accept but I'm obviously not writing for the franchise, so such complaints I view as vain.

Next scene @ Sebastian Shaw’s burial site (hopefully set as a modern day, high cost tomb).

Apoc arrives in a robe, unknown to the audience as Apoc, obscured by dim lighting. He approaches Sebastian Shaw’s tomb, destroys the door, walks through to see Sebastian’s stone sarcophagus. He uses telekinesis to break the top of the stone cover, cracks it in two and then sends each side hurling in opposite directions.

He uses his telekinesis to lift up the decades old body, indicating the telekinesis with his left hand. While telekinetically holding Sebastian in the air he then takes his right finger to slice open his vein near his wrist, indicating his grey skin. His blood begins to flow. He lifts the dripping blood up into the air telekinetically. As it moves upwards about 2-3 feet from his body it burst into a mist that spans about 8 inches across. He pushes his misted blood into Sebastian’s Mouth, nose and ears. We see Sebastian’s rotten moldy exterior re-invigorated as the life flows back into his body. Apocalypse sets him on the ground, Sebastian still unconscious, on his stomach.

Sebastian comes to consciousness, moving two of his fingers to his mouth and looks at the fluid he removes with his fingers. He examines the fluid to reveal blood mixed with his own saliva.

Sebastian Shaw(while looking at his saliva)

What?

(he looks around the tomb)

What is this?

Shaw turns towards the robed man and squints, trying to make out his shape in the dim light. Apocalypse stands robed with a hood over his head and noticeably armor-less. The dim light makes it hard to see much more than his silhouette. Apoc stands with his arms folded.

Shaw staggers while trying to stand. It is noticeable he has very little strength.

What happened to me?

Shaw turns to his sarcophagus to examine it. He sees the imprint of his body and several hairs which he is able to recognize are his own.

(As if in disbelief)I died...

Shaw turns to Apoc.

I take it you’re responsible for the help

Shaw shakes his head and body as if to help his blood to circulate.

Who are you?

He moves towards Apoc as if to shake his hand. Apoc doesn’t respond.

Ok. Well I thank you for your help.

Shaw pauses, indicating he’s somewhat troubled

Let me know if you want to talk sometime.

Shaw begins to walk towards the entrance but Apoc steps in front of it to block him.

Well I don’t know if you know what I can do--but I’ll need you to move.

Apoc is still unresponsive. Shaw grabs both of his shoulders as if to push him aside

Look man just stand aside

Shaw is unable to budge Apoc.

Apoc:

No, fight.

Apoc opens a vortex that resembles a black hole 5 feet behind Shaw and this sucks Shaw back towards it. Apoc immediately closes the vortex, causing Shaw to hit the ground, landing on his butt.

Shaw:

I guess we’ll have to do this the hard way.

Shaw gets up, bends over and begins to punch the ground vigorously. He stands up and moves his hand towards the lapel of Apoc. Before he can touch Apoc, Apoc’s body and Robe flickers twice and he is immediately clothed in his armor. Shaw touches the armor and transfers all the energy he just created (by striking the ground) onto Apoc’s Lapel. The Armor shakes and reverberates rather loudly for a brief moment, indicating the energy of the blow but it is clearly ineffective at moving Apoc. Apoc places his finger on his forehead and pushes him back calmly. Shaw cooperates.

Apoc:

This might help.

Apoc holds his hand out as if he was holding a crystal ball. He draws many pieces of iron from within the tomb(from the door handle, an ornate metallic stand with a bronze urn on it near the sarcophagus [and whatever else is practical to find in a tomb], breaking the iron down to its molecular level. He then forms an iron ball into what looks like a large 70 pound cannon ball. He pulls his hand back as if to indicate he’s about to project it at Shaw. He projects the cannon ball at Shaw at a tremendous speed and Shaw absorbs the kinetic energy from the cannon ball. Shaw walks up to him a second time, opens his palm and touches all 5 fingers to Apoc’s sternum, releasing the energy he absorbed. This time the force is enough to push Apoc back about a foot.

Apoc:

I commend your power, but I own you. I have use for you.

Apoc rubs his hands on some dust that collected on a stone near the door, brings it to his face and then blows it at Shaw. Right before the small cloud of dust reaches Shaw he releases the nuclear energy from 1 spec of dust, producing a small nuclear explosion which obviously can’t harm Shaw but it temporarily blinds him. Shaw falls to the ground, grabs his eyes with his left hand and tries to stabilize himself with his right. Apoc uses his telekinesis to lift up Shaw from the ground, opens a wormhole and sends him into it.

Because of Apoc's extreme abilities it's hard for any mutant to match him. Kevin Bacon was such a pro in his first X-men movie as long as he can continue to produce in the same manner he is the type of quality the folks at Marvel need.

This is a small example about how to script in a way that is win win, holding it be converted into a format acceptable to Hollywood. The tough part about writing a good movie is choosing strong concepts to drive the movie, making every scene a good one, and design each scene to compliment and synergize with the next. The rest is up to the talents of The effects teams,  camerman and director. In most Hollywood productions The props and wardrobe people usually get the math right.
